Jessica Boswell

Jessica Boswell has extensive experience in education, currently serving as the 2 i/c of the English Department and KS5 Coordinator at Downe House School since September 2012. In this role, Jessica supports the Head of Department in managing a team of ten teachers, specifically focusing on curriculum development and data management. Jessica also has experience as a Teacher of English and in early career development, where responsibilities included mentoring new teachers. Additionally, Jessica holds the position of Housemistress of Aisholt House, overseeing the pastoral and academic growth of approximately 55 students. Prior to Downe House, Jessica engaged with prospective students as a Student Ambassador at the University of St Andrews and produced youth theatre workshops for children. Educational credentials include a PGCE from the University of Bristol and an MA (Hons) in English Literature from the University of St Andrews.
