Antonio da Costa

Antonio Da Costa is an experienced leader in the rail and transit systems industry, currently serving as General Manager for Bids in New South Wales and Queensland at Downer since July 2019. Previously, Antonio held various roles at Alstom, including Bid Director responsible for leading multi-million dollar tendering activities, and at Siemens as a Senior Project Manager and Project Director overseeing significant projects like the Adelaide and Auckland Metro re-signalling. With a strong technical background in signalling and automation, Antonio has contributed to major projects worldwide, including high-speed rail systems and metro upgrades. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Automation from ISAE-Supméca, an MBA from Georgetown University, and advanced studies in optronics and electronics.
