Nicola Mitchell

Nicola Mitchell is an experienced professional in stakeholder engagement and communications, currently serving as the Stakeholder Engagement & Communications Director at Downer EDI Ltd since May 2023. Prior to this role, Nicola was the Head of Stakeholder Engagement for the Inland Rail project at ARTC from June 2021 to May 2023, focusing on programmatic engagement across various project stages. Nicola's experience also includes positions such as Stakeholder Engagement Operations Manager at ARTC and Head of External Affairs at John Holland, where responsibilities encompassed media relations, strategy development, and team management in complex environments. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Journalism from The University of Queensland and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Tasmania.
