Dr. Kevin Russell

Dr. Kevin Russell currently serves as the Superintendent of Schools for Downers Grove School District 58 since June 2019 and as an Adjunct Faculty Member at the University of St. Francis where responsibilities include Human Resources/Collective Bargaining, and Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment since August 2016. Prior roles include Superintendent of Schools at Chicago Ridge School District 127.5 and Assistant Superintendent of Learning at Community Consolidated School District 181. Dr. Russell holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Aurora University, as well as a Type 75 Administrative Certificate, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Bachelor of Science in History. Additionally, extensive experience encompasses various positions in education including Principal, Assistant Principal, and Teacher starting in 2000.
