Amanda Stevens

Amanda Stevens is an experienced educator with a comprehensive background in teaching and support roles within the Downingtown Area School District, where a position as a Learning Support Teacher has been held since March 2014. Prior experience includes serving as a Program Support Paraprofessional for K-3 autistic support and working as a volunteer at Shamona Creek Elementary School focusing on math and reading. Amanda has also worked as a substitute teacher for both The Substitute Teacher Service and Chester County Intermediate Unit, alongside completing a student teaching placement at Doe Run Elementary School. Amanda holds a Reading Specialist degree from Widener University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Special Education from Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
