Jim Voorhees

Jim Voorhees is an experienced art educator currently serving as an Art Teacher at Downingtown Area School District since August 2006, where responsibilities include developing and implementing art curricula for a variety of courses and managing the education of 80-140 students annually. Additionally, Jim Voorhees has operated Jimboart.net as an educator, artist, and entertainer since August 2005, and worked briefly as a freelance illustrator for Windrunner Group in late 2014. Formerly, Jim Voorhees served as an instructor and manager at The Martial Arts Studio from January 2008 to January 2014, focusing on the physical and character development of youth within traditional Japanese martial arts and overseeing dojo operations. Educational qualifications include a Masters of Art in Illustration from Syracuse University, a Masters of Education in Art from the University of the Arts, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Carnegie Mellon University.
