Jordie Fulton

Jordie Fulton has worked in the technology and data science industry since 2003. Jordie began their career as a Freelance Consultant at Intrepid Consulting, where they worked on a diverse group of projects. Jordie then moved on to become a Senior Data Scientist at Intrepid Consulting, where they worked on statistics, data science, machine learning, statistical analysis, web scraping, optimization, data cleaning and visualization. Jordie also worked as a Developer/Analyst at Intrepid Consulting, coding in C++, Python, and Java.

In 2014, they moved on to become a Contract Data Analyst at High Country Consulting. In 2015, they became a Statistical Data Analyst/Research Assistant at The University of British Columbia, where they conducted data wrangling and statistical analysis on English corpora for a PhD candidate in linguistics. Jordie also worked as a Data Scientist at Experfy, making an impact for a diverse range of clients by driving the invention and integration of models to optimize key business metrics. In the same year, they began competitive coding and data science on major platforms.

In 2005, they worked as a Contract Analyst/Developer at Horizon Trust, where they designed and implemented web based loan portfolio management software. Jordie also worked as a Designer/IT Generalist at Lakeside Development Inc. in 2003. Most recently, they have been working as CTO and Lead Data Scientist at Downtown AI since 2019.

Jordie Fulton attended The University of British Columbia, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Combined Honours - Computer Science/Physics.
