Sharon Alton

Sharon Alton is an experienced professional currently serving as Senior Vice President at Downtown Denver Partnership, Inc. since June 2015, where the focus is on enhancing the downtown area of Denver. Previously, Sharon held the position of Vice President of Community Events at GAIA Consulting Group, LLC from October 2008 to December 2016, and was the Founding President of U.S. Green Building Council Colorado from June 2013 to June 2015. Additional experience includes serving as Executive Project Manager for Destination Hotels and Resorts and as an Events Coordinator at Downtown Denver Partnership earlier in their career. Sharon began their professional journey as an Investment Officer at Country Club Bank from July 2001 to August 2004. Sharon Alton holds a Bachelor's degree in Business with a focus on Marketing from the University of Missouri-Columbia, obtained between 1996 and 2000.
