Lydia Strand

Lydia Strand, MSW, LICSWA, currently serves as a Clinical Case Manager at the Downtown Emergency Service Center since September 2023. Lydia holds dual roles at Shannon & Wilson, Inc. as a Human Resources Generalist and HR and Health and Safety Coordinator since July 2022. Previous experience includes working as a Child and Family Therapist at Ryther from August 2021 to July 2022, and as a Program Manager at Communities In Schools of Greater Tarrant County from August 2020 to July 2021. Additional experience includes an internship as a School Social Work Intern at G.W. Carver Middle School from August 2019 to June 2020, and as a Prevention and Education Intern at the Advocacy Center for Crime Victims and Children from August 2018 to May 2019. Lydia holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Baylor University, obtained between 2019 and 2020, and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the same institution, earned from 2016 to 2019.
