Melissa Lin

Melissa Lin is an experienced professional in journalism and legal resource development. Currently serving as the Washington LawHelp Team Coordinator for Northwest Justice Project since March 2021, Melissa is responsible for creating and managing legal help resources aimed at low-income individuals. Simultaneously, Melissa works as an On-Call Residential/Shelter Counselor at DESC. Previously, Melissa held the position of Associate Editor at LexBlog, Inc., overseeing editorial content and managing social media for a network of legal journalists. Melissa's editorial experience also includes roles as Editor for Ethnic Seattle and Editorial Intern for The Seattle Globalist, alongside leadership positions at The Spectator at Seattle University, where Melissa focused on social justice and diversity in storytelling. Melissa holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Seattle University.
