Wes Iwanski has an extensive work experience spanning several decades. Wes began their career at Citibank N.A. in 1990, where they served as the Vice President of the database administration group for the global derivatives business. During their time there, Wes designed and developed various sub-systems and successfully migrated a trading system. In 2000, they joined Priceline.com as the Director of Database Administration. In this role, they managed the database technologies and the DBA team, defined and implemented data policies and standards, and identified and evaluated new technologies. Wes then moved on to Remedy Partners in 2016, where they worked as an Enterprise Data Architect. Their responsibilities included managing the DBA team responsible for Amazon AWS cloud databases, overseeing data migrations and data quality, and establishing and managing physical and logical data architecture across the enterprise. Wes's most recent role is as the Vice President of Technology at Downtown Travel since 2019.
