Luke Martin

Luke Martin is a Lead Composite Design Engineer at Dowty, a GE Aerospace company, since June 2025, following nearly nine years at NCC – Innovating for Industry, where roles progressed from Graduate Research Engineer to Advanced Research Engineer. Luke's expertise lies in Computer Aided Manufacture (CAM), focusing on NC programming for automated composite manufacturing processes like Automated Fibre Placement (AFP) and Filament Winding (FW). Academic credentials include a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham and foundational education at Wilson's School, completing A-Levels and GCSEs.
