Daniel Block, MD has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Daniel began their career in 1993 as an Adult Psychiatrist at Daniel B. Block, MD. In the same year, they also took on the role of Chair, Dept. of Psychiatry & Human Behavior at Southern Chester County Medical Center, where they served until 2001.

In 1994, Dr. Block joined MeadowWood Hospital as the Medical Director of the Adult Treatment Option, a position they held until 1998.

More recently, in 2019, they became a member of the Medical Review Board at Verywell Mind, a brand of Dotdash.com. In 2023, they took on a one-year fellowship as a Doximity Digital Health Fellow, where they worked on developing digital health tools through surveys, focus groups, and feature testing while establishing connections and creating narratives on digital platforms.

Daniel Block, MD completed their psychiatry residency program at Jefferson Health from 1991 to 1993. Prior to that, from 1985 to 1991, they attended Temple University - Lewis Katz School of Medicine where they earned their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree with a focus on psychiatry. Before pursuing their medical degree, Block obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English from Franklin & Marshall College, graduating in 1985. Daniel completed their high school education at William Tennent High School, earning a diploma in 1981. No information is provided regarding their education before attending high school or any additional degrees or studies after their residency program at Jefferson Health.
