Mike Piatek-Jimenez

Mike Piatek-Jimenez has extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Mike is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Doximity since 2023. Prior to that, they owned and worked as a Software Engineer at Gaucho Software, LLC. from 2004, specializing in macOS and iOS software development. Notable products developed by him include Seasonality Core, Seasonality Go, Seasonality Pro, Seasonality TV, and XRG.

From 2016 to 2022, Mike worked as a Consultant at Wunderman Thompson Mobile, collaborating with small to medium-sized teams to create iOS applications. Notable apps that they contributed to include the official NCAA March Madness app and a mobile commerce app for Chewy, an online pet store.

Before that, Mike was a Consultant at Weather Central, LP where they developed MyWeather Mobile, a native iPhone application providing weather information for locations in the United States. Mike was also a Consultant at Dynamic Network Services, Inc. where they developed DynDNS Updater for Mac OS X, and later worked as a Software Engineer and Systems Administrator at Ephibian, Inc., where they programmed database-backed web sites and custom software solutions.

Mike's career started as a System Administrator at UCSB ECE Computer Support in 1997. Mike then worked as a Software Developer at Pacific Advanced Technology from 1999 to 2000, developing software for a Motorola MPC860 development card used in an infrared video camera.

Throughout their career, Mike has gained experience with various programming languages, database systems, and has been involved in the development of a wide range of software applications.

Mike Piatek-Jimenez attended UC Santa Barbara from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Later, from 2005 to 2012, they attended Central Michigan University, although it is not mentioned whether they completed a degree. At Central Michigan University, their field of study was Meteorology.
