Brian McCoy

Brian McCoy has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Brian is currently working at doxo as an Engineering Manager since January 2023, after previously serving as a Senior Software Engineer from December 2019 to January 2023. Prior to joining doxo, Brian was a Software Development Consultant for Issara Institute as a Lead Developer from April 2018 to December 2019, where they worked on the Integrated Labor Monitoring (ILM) platform. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Digitalis Education Solutions from October 2013 to April 2018, focusing on UI and the Universal Console application stack. Brian also has experience as a Software Developer at Unity Technologies in 2013. Brian co-founded Relaborate, Inc. in December 2011, serving as Chief Technologist and leading the development of their SAAS content management and marketing product until February 2013. Brian was also a Lead Web Developer at Livemocha from May 2011 to November 2011. Brian has a breadth of technical skills, having worked as a Web Developer and Software Engineer at Korrio from December 2010 to April 2011, and as a Front-end Engineer at RealNetworks from January 2006 to April 2010. Additionally, Brian has experience in event management and coordination as an Education Coordinator at Decibel Festival from 2008 to 2010. Brian started their career as a Freelance Web Development Consultant from October 2001 to January 2006.

Brian McCoy completed their education at two different universities. From 2008 to 2010, they attended the University of Washington, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication. Prior to that, from 1996 to 1999, they attended the University of Illinois Chicago, where they pursued studies in Computer Science, although they did not obtain a degree during this period.
