John Reiss serves as the Vice President and General Counsel at Doylestown Hospital since June 2013, acting as the chief legal officer and a member of the senior executive team. Additionally, John Reiss has held the position of Chairman of the Board at ECRI Institute since 2000, providing strategic oversight and addressing special issues as needed. Prior experience includes a role as Partner at Saul Ewing LLP, where John Reiss led the Health Law Practice Group from June 1993 to June 2013, and a similar role at Dechert, Price & Rhoads from 1982 to June 1993, specializing in all areas of health care law. Earlier in John Reiss's career, experience as Assistant Health Commissioner for the State of New Jersey involved developing the state's Diagnosis-Related Groups system and oversight of health planning and reimbursement matters. Educational credentials include a JD from Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law, a Ph.D. in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis, and a BASS in Economics from the University of Exeter.
