Jody Potts-Joseph lives in Stevens Village, Alaska. She is self-employed as a guide/consultant. She previously served as Public Safety Director for Tanana Chiefs Conference and as Regional Director for Native Movement. Potts-Joseph serves as Board Secretary for the Alaska Wilderness League and is President/Co-founder of Data for Indigenous Justice. She previously served as Vice Chair for the Governor’s Tribal Advisory Council, State of Alaska, and as a Board Member for the Alaska Council for Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. Potts-Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Indigenous Studies and Environmental Management from Northern Arizona University.

As a board member, she serves on the shareholder relations committee and the Doyon Natural Resources Development Corporation board.
