Lou Florence

Lou Florence, President and CEO of Doyon Utilities, LLC. Florence has extensive utility experience in nuclear, coal, and natural gas energy.

Florence holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting, and an MBA from Arizona State’s W.P. Carey School of Business. He held a Senior Reactor Operator’s license at the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station. Florence served in the Navy on board USS Baton Rouge as a reactor operator and was qualified in submarines.

Before joining Doyon Utilities, Florence served as Vice President of Alberta Coal Operations for TransAlta Corporation and was President of TransAlta, USA.
