Aaron Lemieux has had a varied work experience, beginning with a role as an Assistant Coordinator (Summer Position) at the Cochrane District Social Planning Council in 2013. In 2014, they were a Teaching Assistant at Wilfrid Laurier University and a Voter Contact Organizer for the Timmins-James Bay MPP Gilles Bisson Re-Election Campaign. In 2015, they were a Customer Service Representative at The Beer Store and a Voter Contact Organizer for the Diane Freeman Election Campaign. In 2016, they were a Management Trainee at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. In 2017, they held two roles at DOZR, as a Territory Manager and a Business Development Representative. In 2019, they were a Sales Manager at Green Unlimited Lawn Care/Christmas Lights Ottawa. Finally, in 2020, they were a Sales Representative at DOZR.

Aaron Lemieux obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Theirtory (Honours) from Nipissing University between 2010 and 2014. Aaron then went on to Wilfrid Laurier University and obtained their Master's Degree in Political Science between 2014 and 2015.
