Ahmad Darwish

Ahmad Darwish, FCCA, serves as the Vice President of Financial Accounting & AP for DP World GCC, having joined the organization in December 2010. In this role, Ahmad manages financial teams across seven business units, implemented VAT, developed financial models, and automated budgeting processes. Concurrently, Ahmad holds significant positions at the Accountants and Auditors Association, including Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and has contributed to the United Arab Emirates University as a member of the Accounting Executive Advisory Board. Ahmad's prior experience includes leading financial oversight at Dubai World and serving on the board of the Emirates Internet Association. Educational qualifications encompass an ACCA certification, an MBA from the Higher Colleges of Technology, and leadership programs from reputable institutions. Ahmad is recognized for groundbreaking leadership roles within the ACCA, notably as the first Emirati chairman of its UAE Members Advisory Committee.
