Helga Volha Somava

Helga Volha Somava has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Helga Volha currently serves as the Chairwoman for Friends of Belarus in Denmark "Talaka". Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Product Management at DPA Microphones A/S. From 2018 to 2022, Helga worked as the COO at NUORI. Before that, they were employed by Bang & Olufsen as the Director of Product Management for B&O PLAY and later as a Global Product Manager. Other roles they have held include Product Manager at GN Netcom and Unomedical. Helga Volha also worked as a Spare Parts Coordinator at BWSC and served as the Secretary for the Danish Society of the Blind. Helga's career began as a Teacher of English at a Secondary School, and they also had an Engineering Trainee position at Unomedical A/S.

Helga Volha Somava began their education in 1995 at Minski Dziarzhauny pedagagichny kalledzh, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Teaching English in 1998. In 1998 and 1999, they attended Minsk State Linguistic University, focusing on the English language. In 2001, they enrolled at Copenhagen University College of Engineering, where they studied Export. Helga Volha continued their studies at ingeniorhogskolen i kobenhavn, specializing in Export Engineering from 2001 to 2007. In 2005, they briefly attended FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences, exploring subjects like Wirtschaft, Elektrotechnik, and Maschinenbau. Finally, from 2009 to 2011, Helga pursued an MSc degree in BLC (Business, Language, and Culture) with a focus on Leadership and Management at Copenhagen Business School.
