Masoumeh Pourtaherian

Masoumeh Pourtaherian is an experienced education resource worker at Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board since January 2021, and has been a day program worker at Community Living North Halton since April 2019. Prior roles include volunteering as a recreation worker at Erin Meadow Long Term Care, where Masoumeh facilitated recreation programs for residents with dementia, Alzheimer’s, and special needs. Masoumeh's background includes supporting autistic and special needs children at GTB International School, assisting administrative tasks at Region of Peel, and serving as a help desk analyst at Soroc Inc. Additionally, Masoumeh contributed as a family supportive consultant at Badbadak Institute and as a facilitator and reviewer for the Children's Book Council of Iran. Masoumeh holds a diploma in Social Service Work from Sheridan College, completed in 2018.
