Ankur K. Shah

Ankur K. Shah, PE has a diverse work experience spanning from 2005 to the present. Ankur is currently employed at DPS Group Global as a Lead Process Engineer since January 2022. In this role, they are responsible for providing engineering and consulting services to clients in the biopharma sector, specializing in process design and project deliverables.

Prior to DPS Group Global, Ankur worked at Jacobs from October 2016 to September 2019 as a Process Engineer. Here, they focused on new build and renovation projects in the biopharma/biotech sector, providing process development expertise and on-site engineering support.

From January 2009 to October 2016, Ankur was employed at AECOM as a Process Engineer, working on various roles ranging from Process Engineering to Project Engineering. Their responsibilities included optimizing and efficiently utilizing their time on the projects.

Ankur gained previous experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania in 2008 and as a Process Engineer Intern in the Mining Division at URS Corporation in 2008. Ankur also worked as a Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from July 2006 to July 2007.

Ankur's work experience began with a Vocational Trainee position at Reliance Industries in 2005, where they studied the BF Goodrich process for PVC manufacture and provided recommendations to improve process efficiency.

Ankur K. Shah, PE has a Master of Science in Engineering degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, which was completed from 2007 to 2008. Ankur also has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, earned from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, they have taken non-degree graduate courses in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines from 2011 to 2012. Ankur has obtained the Professional Engineer certification from the Massachusetts, Board of Registration of Professional Engineers and of Land Surveyors in 2017, and from the Colorado, DORA in 2014. Ankur also holds an FE / EIT certification from the Department of Regulatory Authority, Colorado, obtained in 2009.
