Sara Charleer

Sara Charleer, PhD, currently serves as a board member and volunteer for the Leuven local branch of Diabetes Liga since May 2024. In addition, Sara holds positions as a Project Engineer in Site Technical Services at Pfizer and as a Consultant Project Engineer at DPS Group Global, both starting in September 2023. Previously, Sara worked as a Clinical Support Manager at UZ Leuven from November 2022 to September 2023, focusing on streamlining endocrinology care within the Plexus Care Network. Sara's earlier experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher and PhD Researcher at KU Leuven, where significant contributions were made to interdisciplinary research projects on diabetes management and advanced glucose monitoring technologies. Sara's academic credentials include a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from KU Leuven and a strong foundation in clinical biomedical science.
