Sean Shannon

Head Audio Engineer at DR PHILLIPS CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS INC

Sean Shannon has over 35 years of experience in audio engineering. Sean currently serves as the Head Audio Engineer at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts starting in 2022. Prior to this role, Sean worked as a Freelance Audio Engineer at Mixing The Band since 1987. In this position, they were responsible for audio recording, editing, and mixing for various clients including Frontiers Records, Cleopatra Records, Valencia College, and independent artists and companies. Sean also handled live sound mixing, stage monitor mixing, sound design, and voice over production using both analog and digital equipment.

Sean Shannon earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Tonmeister Studies / The Science of Music Production from SUNY Fredonia between 1982 and 1987. Prior to that, they obtained their High School Diploma from Frontier Central High School from 1979 to 1982. Recently, Sean obtained a Dante Level 1 Certification from Audinate in February 2022.
