William Yao is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and technology management. Currently serving as the Director of Technology at Dr. Schulze's American Botanical Pharmacy since December 2016, William also founded SCIT in January 2010, where innovative product ideas and applications are being developed. Previously held key positions such as VP of Software Engineering at Atypical Brands, LLC. and VP of Engineering at livinghealthy.com, where responsibilities included overseeing engineering teams and managing development processes. William's career includes significant roles such as Director of Software Engineering at StyleSaint and Director of Engineering at Swirl by DailyCandy, demonstrating expertise in e-commerce and technology integration. William holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from Shanghai Institute of Technology.
