Kate McLean

Kate McLean is a management consultant to nonprofit organizations in areas of executive coaching, strategic planning, community assessment, board development, and program design. Kate has almost 50 years in the philanthropic world as President/CEO of a Community Foundation and a social services organization and consultant. She has started a Women’s Foundation, shelters for runaways, group homes for abused children, battered women’s shelters an NPR radio station, a county-wide information and referral system, and a training center for nonprofit staff and board members among other programs.

Kate has a bachelor’s in sociology, MBA, and an honorary doctor of laws.
