Kai Xu

Kai Xu has extensive experience in construction project estimation, having served as an Estimator at Dragados USA, Inc. since June 2022, as well as at Ames Construction and Kiewit prior to that. Specializing in heavy civil projects, expertise includes quantity take-offs and structural estimates for projects valued between $5M and $3B, with a focus on water treatment facilities, transportation, and airports. Previous roles include Assistant Project Manager at SmartWatt Energy, Inc., where support was provided for various facility projects, and Assistant Project Engineer at DJM Capital Partners, assisting in the coordination of a $25M construction project. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Construction Management and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both from California State University, Fullerton.
