Maren Schmidt-Schweda

Maren Schmidt-Schweda currently serves as the Global Product Manager for Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment at Dräger, a position held since November 2024. Prior to this role, Maren was a Junior Product Manager for custom-made implants at implantcast GmbH from September 2022 to November 2024 and completed a Product Management Internship at Dräger in early 2022, focusing on market-related product launch strategies for hospital consumables. Maren's experience also includes serving as a Research Assistant at Ernst-Abbe-Hochschule Jena and the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry, along with an internship at Universitätsmedizin Göttingen, where involvement centered around the design and manufacturing of mitral valve models. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical/Medical Engineering, both obtained from Fachhochschule Jena.
