Robert Espig

Robert Espig started their work experience at Dräger in 2007 as an Intern in Finance & HR. Robert then joined Nordex Group in 2009 as a Trainee Corporate Controlling, followed by roles as a Group Accountant and Commercial Project Manager in South Africa. In 2013, Robert returned to Dräger as a Controller for Sales & Service, and later held positions such as Controller for Sales Performance and Group Controller. Robert became the Regional Controller for Europe in 2018 and is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer for Sales & Service in Germany.

Robert Espig received an MSc. in Economics from USI Università della Svizzera italiana in 2009, specializing in Banking & Finance. Prior to that, they completed their Diplom-Betriebswirt (FH) in Business Administration, with a focus on International Business and Global Finance Management, from Hochschule Stralsund in 2008. In the same year, they also participated in an Erasmus-Semester at USI Università della Svizzera italiana, studying Financial Communication and Banking & Finance. Additionally, Robert is an alumnus of Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft (sdw) gGmbH and a member of sdw Alumni e.V.
