Tarun Pothulapati

Tarun Pothulapati is an Engineer at DragonflyDB since March 2023, with a strong background in deployment technologies. Previously, Tarun held the position of Senior Engineer at Gitpod from February 2022 to January 2023, contributing to the development of a self-hosted installation and automated testing pipelines. Tarun also worked as a Software Engineer at Buoyant, Inc. from April 2020 to January 2022, where responsibilities included maintaining Linkerd's control-plane and developing end-to-end features. An internship at the Cloud Native Computing Foundation allowed Tarun to enhance Linkerd with distributed tracing capabilities, while a Summer of Code project at Google focused on improving observability through GraphQL. Tarun holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Vardhaman College of Engineering.
