Jonathan Westrup is an experienced music educator and advocate in the SEND sector, serving as an Associate Musician and Trainer at Drake Music since 2005, where Jonathan has developed accessible music projects and training programs. Westrup has a history of delivering music education in various settings, including freelance work in mainstream schools and a role as Youth Culture Development Officer at Bristol City Council, focusing on music technology to foster youth participation. Previous teaching experience includes a position at Patchway High School and a role as a Practice Supervisor at Wells Cathedral School. Westrup holds a Bachelor's Degree in Art/History and a PGCE from the University of Bristol, as well as a Master's Degree in Cross-sectoral and Community Arts from Goldsmiths, University of London.
