Andrew Raij, PhD, is a Principal Research Scientist focused on human-centered XR and spatial computing, with over 20 years of experience in immersive technologies, including VR, AR, and wearable health devices. They have led diverse projects ranging from theme park attractions to virtual training systems and have published over 70 refereed articles, receiving 4,000+ citations. Raij founded the Powerful Interactive Experiences (PIE) Lab and has managed significant research funding while mentoring numerous graduate students. Currently, they are involved in advanced research on augmented reality user experiences at Magic Leap and Draper.
