Bradley Kaanta

Bradley Kaanta is a distinguished engineering professional with extensive experience in propulsion systems and microelectromechanical systems (MEMS). Currently serving as a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at Draper since June 2023, Kaanta previously held the position of Chief Engineer at Accion Systems Inc., where responsibilities included leading system architecture and product execution for ionic propulsion systems. Other notable roles include Director of Advanced Systems at Accion Systems Inc. and Advanced Systems Development Manager at Analog Devices. Kaanta's career began with foundational roles in research and design at organizations like Schlumberger and the Air Force Research Laboratory, alongside academic pursuits that led to a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University and multiple degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
