Brandt Pein

Brandt Pein is a seasoned professional in the field of technical science with extensive experience spanning various roles. Currently serving as a Sr. Member of Technical Staff at Draper since October 2023, Brandt previously held the position of Current Sensor Product Line Manager at ACEINNA, overseeing the launch of innovative magnetoresistive current sensor technology. From March 2017 to March 2023, Brandt worked as a Research and Development Scientist at Pendar Technologies, LLC, focusing on Raman spectroscopy platforms. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral research associate role at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where Brandt's research concentrated on terahertz-frequency responses in nanocrystals and related technologies. Academically, Brandt holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Washington.
