Robert Welch

Robert Welch is a seasoned professional in product marketing, currently serving as a Sr. Product Marketing Manager at Drata since February 2023. Prior to this role, Robert held similar positions at Metaplex Foundation, where Robert focused on developer marketing for SDKs related to the Metaplex protocol on Solana, and at BlockFi, where Robert successfully launched over 50 cryptoassets on the trading platform. Robert's experience also includes work at Facebook, where Robert contributed to product strategy and development for Facebook Marketplace, launching one of the company's initial e-commerce products. Additionally, Robert served as a Captain in the US Army, gaining leadership experience in roles such as Squadron Maintenance Officer and Armor Platoon Leader. Robert earned an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS in Management with a focus on Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
