Matt Jewell

Matt Jewell is currently a board member at DrayNow, and was previously the Chief Commercial Officer at Forward Air Corporation. Matt has over 18 years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry.

Jewell was responsible for strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, organic sales growth, and marketing at Forward Air. Matt implemented Sales Force CRM to help with the company's organic growth initiatives, and restructured the sales team to better sell enterprise solutions.

Under Jewell's leadership, the Final Mile service offering grew from $35M annual revenue to $200M+. Matt also oversaw the growth of the Intermodal segment through acquisition, and increased the revenue of 3PL customers by 95% YoY. In addition, they introduced a guaranteed service offering for LTL expedited product and created a truckload brokerage department.

Matt Jewell received their Bachelor of Arts in Matt'story from Emory University. Matt then attended Emory University School of Law and received their Doctor of Law (J.D.). After law school, they attended Harvard Business School Executive Education and Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
