Khairul Azman

Khairul Azman has a extensive work experience spanning over 26 years in various roles related to procurement and purchasing. Khairul is currently serving as the Head of Group Procurement at DRB-HICOM Berhad since February 2019. Previously, they held the same position at Cement Industries of Malaysia Berhad from February 2017 to February 2019. Khairul has also worked as the Regional Purchasing Director for ASEAN at Prysmian Group from January 2014 to January 2017 and as a Senior Manager Strategic Sourcing at Baker Hughes from April 2010 to January 2014. Before that, they worked at Johnson Controls Automotive as a Senior Purchasing Manager from February 2008 to April 2010. Additionally, they have held positions such as Senior Global Commodity Manager at ZF Group from August 2005 to February 2008, General Manager of Logistics & Supply Chain at Continental from August 2004 to August 2005, Regional Purchasing Manager (Asia Pacific) at ZF Group from August 2000 to August 2004, Senior Buyer (ASEAN) at ZF Group from December 1998 to July 2000, and Section Head of Purchasing at MODENAS from December 1995 to December 1998. Khairul Azman began their career as a Purchasing Executive at Proton from April 1993 to October 1995.

Khairul Azman obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Operation Management from Texas A&M University-Commerce, which they attended from 1986 to 1990. Additionally, Khairul Azman has several certifications, including the Certified International Advanced Procurement Professional (CIAPP) from the International Federation of Purchasing and Supply Management (IFPSM) in 2022. Khairul also has multiple certifications from LinkedIn, such as "Counterintuitive Leadership Strategies for a VUCA Environment" in 2020, "Bill George on Self Awareness, Authenticity, and Leadership" in 2019, and "Body Language for Leaders" in 2019, among others. Khairul Azman also obtained the "TRAIN THE TRAINER" certification from Training.com Asia in 2019 and the "Purchasing Foundations" certification from LinkedIn in 2018.
