Guillermo Walsh

Guillermo Walsh currently serves as Chief Procurement Officer at Ooredoo Algerie, starting in October 2023. Prior to this role, Guillermo held the position of Group Head of Procurement at Axiata from September 2020 to October 2023, leading the Axiata Procurement Center. Guillermo's extensive experience includes serving as a Senior Advisor at Blue Ocean Consulting, focusing on telecom mergers and acquisitions and strategic sourcing. Previously, Guillermo worked at Vodafone, where roles included Head of Joint Ventures and Principal Commercial Manager in Global Procurement, overseeing procurement services for multiple partner networks. Guillermo's career began at Millicom International Cellular, progressing from Senior Category Manager to responsibilities in broadband services and corporate pre-sales. Guillermo holds an MBA from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and degrees in Computer Science and English from Universidad Tecnológica de El Salvador and the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, respectively.
