Aitor Juez Toribio

Aitor Juez Toribio is a communications intern at Danish Refugee Council since January 2023, and also serves as a UN Volunteer online with Wamulu International, focusing on partner engagement and project proposal development related to Kenya. Previously, Aitor worked as a Child Protection Officer at Defence for Children International, providing legal assistance to minors in asylum processes and advocating for child protection and migration issues. Aitor's experience includes roles as a research assistant at UNESCO Etxea and Fundación Vicente Ferrer, where reports on climate change, human rights, and health awareness initiatives were drafted. Aitor holds a NOHA Master's Degree in International Humanitarian Action from the University of Deusto and has studied political sciences with a focus on international relations at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
