Lydia Bates

Lydia Bates currently serves as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Dream Inn Santa Cruz since May 2025, where responsibilities include leading sales and marketing initiatives for a landmark oceanfront hotel that merges surf culture with upscale hospitality. Previously, Lydia held the same title at Hotel San Luis Obispo from December 2018 to May 2025, contributing to marketing efforts for a hotel located in the vibrant downtown area. Earlier experience includes roles as Director of Sales at Inns of Monterey and Senior Sales Manager at Chaminade Resort and Spa. Lydia's career began at North Lake Tahoe Resort Association as a Leisure Sales Manager, and various sales positions at Resort at Squaw Creek further developed expertise in the hospitality industry. Lydia is an alumnus of California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
