Dream Project
Karen Vallejos Corrales serves as the Executive Director at Dream Project since July 2021, previously holding the position of Law Clerk at Texas RioGrande Legal Aid from June 2020 to July 2021, where support was provided to clients on family law matters. Karen's experience includes representing clients as a Student Attorney in the Immigrant Rights Clinic at Washington and Lee University School of Law, assisting with asylum claims and Immigrant Juvenile Status applications. Additional roles include a Summer Associate at Garcia Hernández Sawhney, LLP, where responsibilities spanned drafting legal documents and preparing district responses, as well as various legal internships focused on civil rights, public policy, and financial law. Karen obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) from Washington and Lee University School of Law and dual degrees in Business Administration and International Business from Southwestern Adventist University.
