Ilari Paasivirta

Ilari Paasivirta currently serves as a Principal Applied Scientist at Dream Sports, contributing to the Columbia-Dream Sports AI Innovation Center, which focuses on advancing research in AI, ML, and sports technology. Prior to this role, Ilari Paasivirta was employed at Amazon as an Economist II, where responsibilities included designing enhancements to statistical methods for experimentation and building causal inference models for video streaming initiatives. Earlier experience at Amazon included the position of Economist I, where Ilari Paasivirta developed a service for estimating the impact of Product Quality programs and led a series for Amazon economists.
