Jeffrey Horton

Jeffrey Horton, M.A.T., currently serves as a 3rd Grade Teacher at DREAM since August 2024. Prior to this role, Jeffrey was the MLL Coordinator at The Bronx Charter School for Children from August 2022 to August 2024 and an Elementary School Teacher at Harlem Village Academy Charter School from September 2021 to August 2022, focusing on creating engaging lessons in math, ELA, and social studies. With earlier experience as an MLL Specialist at East Harlem Scholars Academies and a Science Teacher at Public Preparatory Network, Jeffrey has extensive teaching experience spanning various roles in Japan and the United States, including positions as an English teacher, tutor, and store manager. Jeffrey holds a Master’s Degree in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s Degree in Drama and Dramatics from Ithaca College.
