Ying Sue's work experience begins in 1995 at PMC-Sierra, where they worked as an Applications Engineer, providing design-in support and developing reference designs. They then founded and served as the Principal of an e-commerce startup called Sygtron Systems from 1999 to 2000. After that, they worked as an Applications Manager at West Bay Semiconductors from 2000 to 2003, specializing in hardware design and customer design-in support during the telecom bubble. From 2003 to 2021, Ying Sue worked at Intel Corporation as an Engineering Manager, leading hardware design and factory start-up teams to deliver various products. Currently, Ying Sue is the Director of the BC Design Center at DreamBig Semiconductor Inc.
Ying Sue graduated from The University of British Columbia in 1995 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Computer Engineering. Ying then went on to attend Simon Fraser University from 1998 to 2000, where they obtained their MBA degree with a focus on Information Systems and International Marketing.
