Fermín Uribe-Echevarría

Fermín Uribe-Echevarría has a diverse work experience with various roles in different companies. Fermín began their career in 1999 as a Sysadmin at the Departamento de Ciencias de la Computación at Universidad de Chile. In this role, they were responsible for user administration, network management, and equipment maintenance. Fermín also evaluated equipment purchases and installed and maintained Windows, Linux, and Solaris operating systems.

In 2004, Fermín joined NIC Chile - Universidad de Chile, Registro de dominios .CL as a Software Engineer. Fermín worked in this role until 2009, focusing on information security. Fermín then transitioned to the position of Information Security Officer, where they continued their work until 2014.

Moving forward, Fermín joined Transbank in 2014 as an Information Security Project Manager, where they remained until 2015. Fermín then joined Dreamlab Technologies in 2015 as a Research and Development Engineer, and later took on the role of Chief Operations Officer in 2017. Currently, they are serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Dreamlab Technologies.

In 2018, Fermín briefly worked at Banco de Chile as the Head of Cybersecurity for six months.

Fermín Uribe-Echevarría completed an Advanced Management Program in Business Administration and Management, General at ESE Business School Chile in 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a certification called ThePowerMBA from ThePowerMBA in February 2021. In terms of their formal education, they earned a degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Computer Networks and Operating Systems from Universidad de Chile between 1996 and 2003. Before attending university, they attended Colegio Suizo de Santiago from 1981 to 1995, although specific degrees or fields of study are not mentioned for this period.
