Julie Ann Powell, Assoc CIPD, currently serves as People Business Partner for Retail North at Dreams, beginning in June 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Head of People Partnering at McColl's Retail Group from August 2020 to June 2023, overseeing human resources for a workforce of 15,500 across 1,100 stores in the UK. Julie also held various HR positions at Asda from April 1999 to June 2020, focusing on partnering with store managers and implementing people strategies. Earlier career roles include Deputy Catering Manager at Gardner Merchant Inc and Store Manager at Greenhalgh's Craft Bakery, alongside various hospitality positions. Julie holds a CIPD Level 5 Diploma in Human Resources Management from Runshaw College and an HND in Hotel Catering and Institutional Management from Blackpool and The Fylde College.
