Magdalena Åhlberg Torphammar

Magdalena Åhlberg Torphammar has worked in a variety of roles since 2007. Magdalena began their career as a Datatekniker at InfoCare Service A/S in 2007, followed by an Associate role at Advokatfirman Lindahl in 2009. In 2010, they completed a Blue book stagiaire Traineeship at the Directorate-General for health and consumers (SANCO). In 2011, they were a Tingsnotarie at Stockholms tingsrätt and an Associate/Advokat at G Grönberg Advokatbyrå AB in 2012. In 2016, they held a Legal counsel (temporary employment) role at AFA Försäkring, followed by an Associate role at DLA Piper Sweden in 2017. In 2018, they returned to AFA Försäkring as a Senior Legal Counsel, where they had vast experience of drafting, review and negotiation of commercial agreements, with focus on the IT area (SaaS, license agreements, DPA:s etc.), handling of other IT and tech related matters, such as open source, AI etc., and corporate commercial matters. Magdalena is currently the Head of Legal at Dreams Technology, a role they have held since 2022.

Magdalena Åhlberg Torphammar completed their Masters of Laws at Lund University from 2004 to 2009. Magdalena also took part in an exchange program at UNSW in 2007, studying international law.
