Ayaris Perez is a seasoned professional in digital media and arts education with significant experience in program coordination and teaching. Currently serving as the Program Coordinator of Legacy Internship Programs and teaching artist at DreamYard Project since July 2018, Ayaris has co-founded Bronx Film 48, where efforts focus on supporting local filmmakers through networking events, workshops, and film challenges. Previous roles include New Media Arts Instructor at Educational Video Center and Production Director at WNPC-TV, alongside contributions as a video editor for Malaika Apparel Co. and various mentorship positions. Ayaris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Digital Media Production and a minor in Communications from SUNY New Paltz, complemented by earlier education at State University of New York Cortland and Dreamyard Preparatory.
