DreamYard Project
Meagan Mahaffy is the Founder and Director of art gurl, a creative collective established in 2022 that focuses on art, wellness, and self-discovery through custom workshops. Additionally, Meagan serves as a Teaching Artist at DreamYard Project, developing curricula in design thinking and creative problem solving. Past roles include Education Coordinator and Education Associate at Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, and various positions in prominent art institutions such as the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Museum of Modern Art. Meagan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from the University of Colorado Boulder and has a diverse background in arts education and community programming.
